Disney are most certainly back on form with this animated film. And looking to the future to see more 3D films like this on the big screen very soon. Bolt is one very grand piece of work, both in 3D (like I saw it) and in standard 2D. I personally could live without the 3D - to me 3D just seems like another money making scheme. At the moment I'm not convinced by the new 3D technology. The technology that Disney have seemed to line up many new films for the coming year. Jonas Brother Concert, Up, Ice Age 3 - all of them in 3D. We'll just have to wait and see what they turn out like.

Bolt on the other hand is executed very well. When I first saw the trailer for the film I thought; John Travolta? Miley Cyrus? Can this work? Well, it did, and it worked out very well. The animation is also top-notch. We can only hope Disney a good luck with the 3D technology in the future.

Definitely a perfect family film. All ages will love it.
